Long tail cast on 97 sts, knit 10 rows, increase to 102, knit 1 row, purl 1 row, knit 12 rows and sew hem shut, knit 3 more rows, start lace pattern.

A bit of a mix of the OG version of this pattern I downloaded ages ago and the updated version available now. Lace pattern not exactly Milanese lace (I didn’t shift the starting marker so the k2togs don’t fully line up), but it gives a fun scalloped look to the lace and I kept it consistent throughout the pattern and the decreases, so I’m calling it good.
