I’ve been wanting a black shawl for a long time, and this pattern seemed to fit the bill.

I cast on the day my sweet fur baby passed away. The black seems symbolic of my grief; he was a member of the family for twelve and a half years. Wearing this shawl will tug at my heartstrings a little extra. cry

I am loving the feel of the yarn, and so far, the pattern is easy to follow.
