Notes

Cast on 160 stitches on 4 mm circular needle for the ring. Using 8 ply acrylic yarn from stash. 3-6-15 Did 37 rounds K1 P1 rib. 7-7-15… Using 3.75 mm dpns…working on the leaves..16 done so far!! 26 to go.14-7-15…23 leaves knitted. 8 sewn in the garland.

Now working on the oak leaves and acorns. 2 sets of leaves done so far. Using 3.5mm needles for leaves and 2.75mm needles for acorns.

3 sets of Oak leaves and acorns completed.Sewn onto wreath.

29-02-2016

Had another surge on the wreath and added the Ivy leaves. Sewn on seperately. Made 4 each of the hegdehogs,toadstools and fat flowers. Not sewing them on until I have finished the rest of the pieces so I can get a good placement of them all.

Restated this project as I want to get it finished at last!!

Twelve bluebells knitted, stems done.
4 Hedgehogs, 4 mushrooms,4 spring daisies done.
Knitting finished.

Well, after another 6 years of sitting around, I got out the sewing needle and finished it.
Longest project ever. I am glad I got it completed.
Reasonably happy with the end result.
