This is my first crocheted project, it’s actually practice crocheted squares that I made. While working on the squares, I thought it would be nice to make them into something for one of my daughters dolls. I sewed three corners of one square to make a hat. I added straps and sewed on with a darning needle. The hat now had straps which tied under the chin.

The cape, I added a button to one side, and a yarn loop to the other. a simple way to secure the cape to my daughters doll. My daughter was excited about these crocheted items. I’m pleased that she likes them, and am looking for my crochet skills to improve so I can make more items.
