Most of this yarn is Merino/Cashmere/Nylon - I hand dyed it at various times over the last couple of years. I’ve made a shawl with this yarn already and it’s lovely and soft, cushiony and squishy. It should make for a lovely wearable sweater…

Got to the stripes and next thing I knew I’d started doing a kind of fair isle heart pattern. It just happened, OK? I can see this quite sleek design now veering off into Rowan circa 1985 territory but I’m just gonna roll with it ;)

Have progressed on with the sleeves just to try out the colour scheme. I actually really love the little band on yellow with pink hearts - quite girly and not what I would usually have chosen but really sweet against the blue.

Pattern completed as written - with the ribbed neck option. I liked the idea of leaving it ‘unfinished’ but the slash neck was so wide it fell off my shoulders, and the edges were curling unattractively after blocking - so ribbing it was.

The fit is really good - I was concerned it might be on the tight side but the yarn is very stretchy so after blocking everything worked out…
