Size 13 (!!!) men’s socks for Abby’s boyfriend. This may take a while.
Turkish cast on 10 stitches. KFB increases on either end every other row to 24 on each needle- 48 total stitches. Using Matt’s foot as a guide (he’s a size 12 and the closest I could find), and so far this seems to work. Fingers crossed!

FINISHED- PHEW!
Did 81 rows for the foot (80 rows and then one more across top of foot before FLK heel). FLK heel with 8 center stitches. 10 rows after heel completion of stockinette before beginning K2P2 rib for leg. 50 rows of K2P2 ribbing and JSSBO.
My first ever socks in Sport weight DONE! I quite liked working with the Hawthorne. While it was a little rougher on my hands than I’m used to, it really wasn’t awful - at least nothing a little hand balm couldn’t fix (thank you Tuft Woolens!!!). I absolutely LOVE how the color turned out on these. The yarn also went A LOT farther than I was expecting. I almost managed to eke out a pair with one hank, but had to break out the second cake on the ribbing of the second sock. Still, not bad at all and I have plenty left over for another project- maybe some house socks for myself, or even a hat or mittens- oh, the possibilities!
I have no idea how to block these, but I’ll be giving them a good soak in some sock soap to soften them up before sending them to Abby. Very, very pleased with these!
Total weight for pair: 107 grams
