Knit one row
Decrease to 56 (k1, ssk, k to 3 sts before end, k2tog, k1– 2 times for magic loop)
Knit 40 rows then work heel flap (5”)
Heel flap for 28 rows (14 slipped stitches)
9 on each side of heel turn
Pick up 15 stitches on each side
Work decreases back to 56 stitches (28 each needle)
Knit 50 rows after decreases- approx. 7.5”
12 rows K2P2 ribbing- approx. 8.5”
