Sept 12, 2022: This is for a 10m old baby. My gauge is closer to 5 sts per inch on US size 8 needles. So I am making the 12-18m size in the hope that the baby will be able to wear it for a few months.

Using US size 8, LTCO 34 sts. From other Raveler’s notes I gathered that the garment had a tendency of having a rather loose and large neck. To compensate for that I knit the 1st 6 garter st rows (3 garter ridges that form the collar) and the 4 st garter border, tighter than usual.

Did 4 rows of the texture st section. For the skirt I worked 10 rows of stockinette and then started the garter st border.

Comments: It is a very well written pattern and great for a quick gift using just under one skein of Rios.
