Dec 26: My legs are shaped such that I have to work a larger size on the upper part of the leg as compared to lower part (closer to the ankle).

So, GTCO 64 sts on US 2.5 (3mm) needles. Transferred to US 1 (2.25mm) 9” circulars and knit 9 rows of k1p1 ribbing. I added ribbing for a snug fit and I am happy with it.

Transferred to US 1.5 (2.5mm) 32” circulars. Reduced 4 sts on the first row of pattern. Worked the rest of the sock on 60 sts.

I tend to prefer a standard flap-and-gusset heel as they fit me the best. I have had issues with fit when making short row heels. However, this modified short row heel is brilliant and fits amazingly well. The pattern is beautiful and the fit is perfect. Very happy!

Measurements after blocking:
Cuff: 2cm
Leg with cuff, before heel: 14.2cm (5.5”)
Cuff to bottom of heel: 20cm
Heel to beg of toe decreases: 18.5cm
Toe: 4.6cm
Heel to Toe: 22cm
Width at foot section: 8.3cm
