Saw this beauty in Spin Off Winter 2024 magazine and was craving a long knit, suitable for on-the-go knitting. This seemed perfect! Ran to yarn shop, found yarn (tho the hot pink was stunning) and started right away. I hate y/o ‘s by markers as they always sneak to the wrong space but after a few rows, understood the pattern (easy) and that problem disappeared!
My only regret… that pink was sure pretty. Well I may just have to make another(!!)

I’ll skip the loopy edging (it would catch on things); am thinking I’ll edge it with some small bobble-like danglers that could be left alone or blocked for definition. We’ll see.
Decided to wait until it’s blocked to finalize plans on edge. I may like it as is. I did skip 12 rows and am very pleased with the size. (I’m very particular about shawls hitting at the “right” spot. Slight sexy beats frumpy every time haha)
I wear this around my neck as a scarf but when I take my coat off at my destination, it graces my shoulders for a little warmth. I love it! I highly recommend it.

Back to yarn shop to check out that hot pink. Is that greedy? Ok, I’ll be satified with this one! I do love it
