Ok, I need a ‘step away from the ….’ project for a bit so I thought I would contribute to Lis’ spinning wheel fund AND use up the spectacular red handspun that was gifted to me by the amazing and insanely talented Susie aka PerchanceToKnit at Perchance to Knit… Hopefully will be ready for heart day!

02/14/2010 - Finished… The cable really didn’t show up well but that’s due to the fact that the yarn I’m using is a (stunning) handspun single. The pattern was extremely simple and easy to follow. The result was beautiful even if the cable doesn’t ‘pop’. I just need to find a button tomorrow (or dig through my stash tonight) and then it will be well and truly finished. I will post a pix as soon as I get the whole button thing figured out.
