So far a very simple pattern and easy to do. I read the other comments and went with a larger needle right off the bat.

It ended up 32” x 33” for the body, about 1 1/2” with the trim. It’s clearly “homemade” but hopefully the flaws will only be obvious to me and not the recipient.
