This effort at adaptation was a little messy. I can’t say I recommend tosh merino light after using the snug fingering. It’s just a bit of a mismatch for the project. But it was the right blue, and I didn’t want to try to find the right Plucky colors to make this one happen. So, I had to experiment but ended up casting on 140 to get the rib the right size and decreased down to 126 for the stockinette. This fits a 22-23” head.

I made a second hat. CO 140 and only decreased down to 130 this time.
