Frogged original cast on.

Swapped down to 3mm needles for Tubular Cast on. Swapped right needle to pattern 3.5mm for the setup round to create the 2x2 pattern.

Swapped left needle to pattern 3.5mm for remainder of ribbing.

Will swap to pattern 4mm when doing the first round of the yoke.

Tried the sweater on the dressform for the first time since starting it ;D

No test! ONLY KNIT! jkjk

The sizing is turning out great! It’s loose but not baggy; and the color is working up like a dream.

I am, however, adding a bit more length. I’m adding about 1/2 to 3/4 inches to body length because I prefer longer sweaters. It should work out to be a full inch longer than my original Weekender (that I hope to lengthen later this year).

I paused the body at 18” to begin the sleeves. Wanted to ensure I had enough yarn to do the sleeves before adding the extra length to the body that I’d like to add.

Worked the decreases and stay rounds for a total of 77 rounds on the sleeves but only had about 9.5” in length so I’ll be knitting straight in the round until I reach the desired length before beginning the cuff.

Finished Sleeve 2!

Decided to re-work the cuff on sleeve 1 because my tension was a bit too tight on the cuff and I preferred the tension on the cuff for sleeve 2.

Finished adding the extra length on the body on January 16, and began the ribbing.

Originally planned to do 30 rounds of ribbing, to match the cuffs on the sleeves, but ran out of yarn HA

Managed to do 25 rounds plus bind off
