Notes

Base is ch 20 with K hook. Main body with J hook, edging with I hook to help tighten it up. I also slip stitched around edge instead of sc as it made it tighter and I didn’t need the row of sc. Could have probably done a base ch of 18 as instructed.

**** This pattern seems small when you are working it up but I have found slippers stretch out quickly once you wear them. I have a 9 1/2 wide foot and instructions as written seem to fit best. ****
I am totally in love with this pattern and already have ideas for a few variations. I have found that the thicker, stiffer yarn works best for this to maintain the points and structured look. I thought of knitting this too but realized it would have been too floppy. Tunisian Crochet is perfect. Plan to try with Tunisian Knit stitch (might rework the Shaded Rainbows slippers since they are too big now).

Yarn is more brownish than I could photograph - Still lovely but looks more rainbow in my pictures. Unfortunately this is discontinued yarn and I only had one skein but it was so pretty for these slippers. Had juuust enough to finish this pair. :(

Still learning how to best work with these hand painted looking yarns. One slipper has more of a banded effect on the side and the other is stippled. Would like them to match more so but it’s not that noticeable in person.
