Learned foundation single crochet. Pretty easy! Nice, simple pattern and pretty, pearly yarn. Hopefully whoever gets it will like it!

FINAL REFLECTION: Easy to work up. Helped that I counted each SC row -- there’s one stitch at the end there that always wants to escape, so counting was essential.

Colors came out a lot prettier than I had anticipated while I was making it.

Definitely needs blocking. This stitch curls a LOT.

Seamed with a slst. Borders are 2 rows of SC and one row of FPSC.. or is it BPSC? In any case, the loops appear on the front, not the back. Really helps to add structure to the piece and keep it from curling into a shapeless mess.

This project used nearly one skein of yarn. I might have been able to do 4 more rows, but that would have been cutting it really close.
