Fabulous pattern -- a 2-day knit (could easily be knit in one day) then waiting for time to felt. Version of pattern with large brim, flat top and band. Hat felted easily (within 10 min.) in top-loading washing machine. It will need a hair cut after it dries. I love both yarns. Both the llama and alpaca have a nice texture when felted. Not a good choice if you want a completely smooth fabric. This colorway of Miski has a light heather of blue. After felting the heather is more prominent. I think Helen will love it!
