CO 72 stitches. Knitted 3/4” cuff to conserve yarns: some knitters have reported needing more than 400 yd. Yardage was just right.

Pattern is a tad tedious (all the wrapping) and not one of my fav Cookie A patterns; however, it is a very clever pattern for those who are into angels.

Was making these for my sister, but they are really tough to get on. Should have used US 1.5 for leg or more loosely wrapped angel faces. Fortunately, the Caper Sock blocked beautifully. The fit is now just right.

US 1.5: cuff, part of leg and instep – beginning with rnd 8 on 4th repeat of leg chart and ending after completing 1st repeat of charts over top of the foot.
US 1: leg through 4th chart repeat rnd 7, sole of foot after heel turn, and all of foot after completing 1st repeat of foot charts.
