My kfb : slip a stitch knitwise, put this stitch back on the left needle, knit in the back loop without dropping the stitch and knit this stitch in the front loop.

Section 5, Row 1
The last m1 will be the stitch in which we do the kfb, so I shifted this increase to knit the kfb in a normal stitch.

Section 6 :
To avoid the (k1,p1) I modified the pattern with garter stitch.

Row 1 (RS) : Using E, K3, kfb, Knit to last 3 sts, sl3 wyif. (495 sts)
Row 2 (WS) : K3, Knit to last 3 sts, sl3 wyif. (495 sts)

Row 3 (RS) : Using A, K3, kfb, (sl1 wyib, K1), to last 3 sts, sl3 wyif. (496 sts)
Row 4 (WS) : K3, kfb, (sl1 wyif, K1), to last 4 sts, K1, sl3 wyif. (497 sts)

Row 5 (RS) : Using E, K3, kfb, Knit to last 3 sts, sl3 wyif. (498 sts)
Row 6 (WS) : K3, kfb, Knit to last 3 sts, sl3 wyif. (499 sts)

Row 7 (RS) : Using A, K3, kfb, (sl1 wyib, K1), to last 3 sts, sl3 wyif. (500 sts)
Row 8 (WS) : K3, kfb, (sl1 wyif, K1), to last 4 sts, K1, sl3 wyif. (501 sts)

Repeat the last 4 rows.
Thus the color A stitches will be aligned vertically. You can also choose to shift them by one stitch what I have done.

with the 5 colors, no kyo4k for less sharked chevrons and no C3B and C3F because no section 7.

R1 (RS) : k3, kfb, k3, pm, kyok, k7, (kyok, k7) to last 8 sts, kyok, pm, k4, sl3wyif.
R2 (WS) : k3, kfb, k3, slm, k6, p1, (k9, p1) to last 6 sts before m, k6, slm, k5, sl3wyif.
R3 (RS) : k3, kfb, k to m, slm, k1, m1, k3, sk2p, k3, (kyok, k3, s2kp, k3) to 1 st before m, m1, k1, slm, k to last 3 sts, sl3wyif.
R4 (WS) : k3, kfb, k to m, slm, k6, p1, (k9, p1) to last 6 sts before m, k6, slm, k to last 3 sts, sl3wyif.

Repeat rows 3 and 4 with each of the 5 colors a total of 2 times
