Size 36 to get a 38 because my gauge is different and I used 3.5 mm needles.
In addition there is a difference of 35 stitches at the neckline for only a difference of 10 stitches at the end of the yoke, which will give a tighter neckline that I prefer.

For narrower sleeves, I have 4 stitches less, so 8 stitches more for the back and 4 stitches for each front. I also did 4 decreases of 2 stitches every 22 rows.

I reduced the gap between the last 3 buttonholes so that there is a button at the very bottom, I should have anticipated this.

I find my border of the button bands a little too loose for the 3 stitches at the beginning and end of the row. If I redo this kind of border, I would do an edge stitch at the start of the row, i.e. a slipped stitch… or maybe an i-cord.
--> With hook 2.5 mm, I make chain stitches for each knit stitch of the neckline and chain stitches for 1 out of 2 stitches along the buttoning edges.
