Test for Isabel :

Very interesting and easy seamless construction, very clear pattern.

It’s a warm and comfortable cardigan for lovely autumn walks or indoors for colder winter days.

Isabel allowed me to add pockets. Since I used some leftover yarn that I wanted to finish (thus having the longest cardigan possible) and I didn’t know the exact length I could knit, these pockets are placed a little high but I still like them.

I used smaller needles to get the gauge : 4.5 mm.
I forgot to change the needle size for the sleeve ribbing but I don’t mind the result.

My blocking was rather light, without pins, the cardigan’s ease has increased which made the sleeves longer.

The measurements obtained in cm for size 2 :
Back neck : 16.5 cm
Shoulder : 23.5
Sleeve circ. measured flat : 2 x1 7 = 34 cm
Back at underarm : 54
Front at underarm : 28.5
Body lenght from underarm : 33.5
Sleeve length : 46

Pocket
Beginning of the vertical pockets : the first 24 stitches and the last 24 stitches in stockinette stitch are knitted with 2 different yarns on different needles, 24 stitches for the front part of the pocket and 24 stitches for the inside of the pocket which will be knitted in stockinette stitch and with the back stitches of cardigan.
4 stitches have been cast on for the edge of the pocket slit and are knitted as slipped stitches on the wrong side like the edges of the cardigan.
