6/23 Began, but had to restart at row 29 as I realized that I mistook the “wrong” side of my work as the “back” of my work and was carrying the yarn on the wrong side for the decorative stitching. :o(

6/24 Restarted.

Decided to only do 3 buttonholes making it a matinee sweater. Found Flogig’s (Sweet Pinky Baby Sweater) with her added instructions. Thanks for the help in saving me from doing the extra figuring myself.

7/3 Finished knitting. Need to block, weave in ends and attach buttons.

7/8 Blocking.

7/17 Finally sewed the buttons on.

Notes: If I reknit this I would use size 3 needles for the garter stitch and then switch to the size 4 for the rest of the sweater. Also, I ended up with rather large holes in the underarms that I sewed up during the finishing. I think I would pick up some additional stitches there and then modify the sleeve tapering accordingly. I modified other patterns for matching pieces of the set shown. Notes and details on those are in my projects.
