Went up one needle size from pattern suggestion because I am a tight knitter.

Used provisional crochet chain cast-on directly onto needle. Knit first row with MC for ease of unpicking the chain later before joining in the round.

Wet-blocked over a small mixing bowl to even out the crown decreases. Turned out larger than I expected -- next time, use the recommended needle size or knit one size smaller for my tiny little head.

Finished blocked dimensions:
20” brim circumference, 9” from brim to crown

No other modifcations to pattern. Squiiiiiisssssssssssh!
