My local WI are making as many of these cute Trauma Teddies as we can, which are given by Devon Fire & Rescue Service to children traumatised by an incident that they’ve attended.

Many of my WI have knitted some, but I’m more comfortable (and quicker) crocheting them.

I chose this pattern because it’s made in one piece and then sewn together. Embroidered eyes rather than safety eyes, and stuffed with the stuffing from a pillow.
