This pretty shawl pattern has been very cleverly engineered to produce two smaller triangles within a larger one. One triangle is lace and the other is a welt pattern. I had to study the pattern a bit to grasp the overall concept, but after that, it made sense. One word of advice I have is to count the number of stitches on your needles quite frequently to make sure you are decreasing correctly on every other row--especially after row 105.

I really enjoyed working with this Shawl-in-a-Ball yarn - it’s so soft and it has a very pleasing texture. The anticipation of the change in the gradient color motivated me to continue knitting to see what color was coming up next. The price is very affordable. It’s somewhere around $10.

I’m so satisfied with the end result! It will be great to wear as either a scarf or shawl.
