This was a fun and rewarding project -- and it was quick! I enjoyed learning the Turkish cast-on and the sewn bind-off. The yarn was really easy to work with and very soft. If I make a second pair, I may work a couple of extra rows before placing the waste yarn for the afterthought heel -- just to make the sock a bit longer. But actually, they fit quite well as is and I’m really happy with the result.

Changes: 1. Used a circular needle for the cast-on, otherwise used DPNs. 2. Used the Elizabeth Zimmerman sewn bind-off method. 3. On the afterthought heel, picked up two stitches in each gap between the top and bottom rows of stitches. Consequently had to do a decrease row on the second row of the Dec Rnd which would have been a k1 rnd.
