This yarn had been discontinued by Berroco when I purchased it from Webs. Some of the colors I was hoping to use were no longer available, so I had to improvise. Although the yarn is a bit splitty, I love the texture and softness.

The hat was a tad small for my head, but was quite wearable after I washed it and dried it over a dinner plate to stretch it out. If I make this again, I may add a pattern repeat (6 stitches), or go up one needle size, or both.

Since we’ve had some cold winter mornings here in NCAL, this hat has helped me keep nice and warm.
