These mitts are so soft and warm and the Malabrigo yarn produces an incredibly sumptuous and thick fabric. At the end of the pattern, the designer comments on sizing and provides instructions on how to make the gloves smaller or larger. I decided to cast on 56 stitches instead of the recommended 64, and this was just perfect for my hand size. I also made the thumb a bit wider by picking up two stitches at each each end of the opening instead of one.
