I upcycled an old sweater of mine which had gotten far too big and had some holes.

Cut sleeves off than crocheted a blanket stitch on both ends of sleeves.then continued an edging. On the wider edge I first made row of blanket stitch. Then a few rows of single crochet.then a row of filet stitches to run a string through. Also made a long cord for them to use for a drawstring so they would fit different sizes and be able to be worn with either end up.

The other bell shaped edge I started with a row of blanket
stitch. Then a few rows of double crochet. Added a few stitches each row til it was about 2 inches long.

A lot of fun and will make more of these for sure,
