Crochet provisional cast on.

20 rows (10 ridges) before starting the chart.
10 rows (5 ridges) after completely finishing the chart.

Picked up and knit the border with 2 added stitches in each corner. Border was 19 rows of garter stitch in the round with 2 increases at each corner on all odd/knit rows. The last row was in the blue yarn.

The corner stitch was worked by knitting it on row one, slipping it on rows 2-4, and repeating this pattern. this was inspired by Purl Soho’s Optic Blanket.

Did my first I cord bind off and loved it!

The whole project took me a little over 50 hours, including the bind off.
The I-cord bind off took 5 hours 5 minutes.
