I can’t get my head to look as rounded as the photo so I’m not super happy about that. I used SO much stuffing to try and get the neck more firm to hold the head up and it helped but it’s still a little wiggly. Hair is a little weird too. It looks like Lego snap on hair. I would use a different skin tone next time. This cream color next to the white looks dirty rather than cream.

I modified the bandana because there is no need to make three separate pieces and sew the 2 ties on. I prefer as little assembly/sewing as possible.

Modification:
Complete row 17, then chain 15, sc in 2nd ch from hook, 14 sc, slip stitch in the same stitch the chain started from, 3 sc, chain 15, sc in 2nd ch from hook, 14 sc, slip stitch in the same stitch the chain started from. FO. Weave in ends.

Eye patch modification:
Complete pattern but don’t FO. Ch 59-62 (use the head to determine exact number of chains to go all the way around and back to the edge of the patch). Slip stitch into the corner stitch on the other side of the patch. I didn’t like the flimsy look of the single chain so I did a sc all the way around back to the corner where I attached it. FO. Weave in ends.

I started my chain with 62 and it’s a little loose. If I made it again, I’d make the starting chain a couple of stitches shorter.

Shirt and Boots Accessory:
Instead of making a flimsy chain and fiddling with sewing it on I just pushed my hook through an opening where the colors meet (sideways), looped white yarn over and then crocheted around that way, when it meets back up, slip stitch, fasten off, weave in ends.

That belt buckle gave me fits. I am not happy with the end result but it’ll have to do for now.

The sword is so cute! I had a few issues trying to figure out how it was assembled in the pattern; there is no guidance/suggestions.
