Ch 29 was way too small even though I’m using the same size yarn and hook as I did for the bunny.

This dress gave me fits. There seems to be a lot of other hookers that have the same fitting issues.
I had to redo the dress three times to get it to somewhat fit and it still isn’t quite right.
I can’t even remember now how many chains I had to to start with, maybe 32 but I should’ve done more.
I added about 2-3 more sc rows to the bottom to make it longer.
I added a row of sc in white all the way around so that I could sew it closed in the end.
My dress is not attached to the bunny itself but I wouldn’t recommend trying to remove it. The fit is very snug and I attached the back of the dress by weaving in/out on the sc edging, down and round the tail, making sure not to squeeze it too tight and distort it, then continued weaving the dress closed just a few more stitches under the tail to hold it closed. I left a gap in the bottom back because I liked the look of it better than all the way seamed. It’s like a mini-slit :)
Because the dress was snug under the armpits I couldn’t do the straps, it looked terrible so I improvised and chained 31, and counted to the 16th ch and attached that one to the middle of the dress (15ch on each side) I wrapped around neck and met back at the middle front, sl st to the first st to make the V and fastened off and weaved in the end from the back of the dress.

I wasn’t going to make the shoes but decided to give it a go.
I was surprised the shoes fit except I had to do a ch13 to go across the foot.
