I cast on only 46 stitches, 3/4 completed I realized it actually said more. Although if I had cast on more, it would be even bigger than it is now, which is a bit too large for my small head. This is for my Mom and her head is bigger but it will still be loose.

1/22 update: finished the hat in less than 24 hrs. It is super comfy and cute. If it was for me, I would prefer a smaller size. I used 16’, US13 circ so maybe next time I’ll try 10.5 or 11.
