Even though I’ve never knitted any of her designs before, I’m a big fan of Bittami and her socks. Seeing her new socks - Girlfriend’s choice - for once I decided to cast on immediately. Having had two skeins of Sterk in my yarn box for a long time, the choice of yarn was easy too.

I enjoy knitting the socks, but if I ever were to knit them again, I would probably knit the ribbing at the back of the leg as a regular rib, not through the back loop - especially if I use Sterk again (which I probably won’t - it splits easily). The difference would probably be more visible using a less hairy yarn.

The knitting is tight and the socks will be warm - maybe a bit too warm for me. The stitch pattern is beautiful :-)

I cast on 60 stitches and that gives me a snug fit around me full-figured legs :-)
