Super excited to begin this one. The pattern includes an “empty” yoke pattern graph so you can experiment with different colours before knitting - just pull out your pencil crayons and choose some colours. Genius!

Base colour: Charcoal
Colour 1: Steel (dark grey)
Colour 2: Turquoise (tonal - hand dyed)
Colour 3: Ash (Beige)

I’m just starting the yoke…. But wait, I need to pull it back a bit after discovering the arms were attached backwards

Mods:

• Cuffs: tubular cast on (5.5mm needles), 6mm for rest of cuff.
• Sleeves 1” shorter
• 3” folded hem (bottom), 14 rows, one purl, 14 rows, hemstitch lightly so it doesn’t show on right side.
• Back 2” longer.
• Collar knit 3 extra rows, then attached live stitches.

All done! Very happy with result. If I knit this again, I would:

• Knit from the top down. This sweater was quite heavy by the time I got to the colourwork, which made it difficult to knit and keep the tension/gauge consistent.
• Knit the cuffs about 1” longer.

I’m totally in love with the turquoise & charcoal colour pairing.
