I’m busy washing, drying, picking, and carding my first Disdero Ranch fleece in preparation for some handspinning! I’m so excited to try something new. But, alas, I just can’t stop knitting, so I thought while I’m full throttle into the wool muck, I’d balance it off with a little bit of kiddy clothing in some acrylic blend.

This Vertebrae is for Anwen, who will be 3 years old in December. She’s petite, so there will be room to grow into (I think). No picture of her in the last Vertebrae - I suspect the colours/stripes weren’t feminine enough? Just a guess. So this Vertebrae is done up in her mom’s very favourite colour of dark periwinkle, which will look lovely on Anwen with her blue eyes.

Using the instructions for Light Worsted weight yarn. <3

• 5cm band and cuffs
• Mitred corners
• Exact-ic-ic-ically two hanks. Used a chain stitch bind off to cast off the last cuff as I didn’t have quite enough. I love knitting. <3 I love this pattern!
