My idea: a top-down set-in sleeve minimalist turtleneck/crew neck sweater. Single rib, no cuffs, no fold-over neck. Smaller needles for turtleneck and tubular cast-offs.

Shaping: Bust darts, princess darts decreasing for waist at front 26”, princess darts beginning at bust level for the back. Increase again for hips to 33”.

Turtleneck: Align ribs from neckline to flow into the turtle.

I knit the right arm first and counted the rows. Left arm completed, but five rows shorter. How is that possible? But they look the same length. Or is the left arm shorter? No, same. Well, maybe… Leave it. Blocked, and voila! They’re shorter. I’ll fix it soon and then add in gauge to this page.

I’m very happy with the fit after blocking, exactly what I planned (except for that left arm).
