This pattern has clearly written instructions with a picture tutorial.

Using fingering weight, I cast on 65 stitches. Grey is main colour and cream the contrasting. I knit to 57 inches, but next time I’d just knit to the end of the wool. The extra length would work well with the extra width.

With the wool I used, this piece is light as a cloud and very, very warm.
