My Nan had a cardigan like this, so I decided it was about time I had my own! Excited about doing some proper cabling.

Started on the Cable for the back (1st time ever I actually had the correct amount of stitches!) Cabling is a very simple pattern and seems to knit up quite quickly (Aprox 1” = 1 pat rep!)

Ok so it nearly a year on and no finished cardigan, Thanks To Xenia AKA diegertrudenlinde for giving me the much needed motivation to get this thing finished, with out her it would still be just a back peice and lots of balls of yarn!

So I have started on the sleeves and I’m finding it quite quick going so should be at the shaping really soon!
