My gauge is a bit bigger than called for, but I think that should work as I was debating whether or not to go up a size.

Used 22” cord for back and front, then switched to 14” cord for the body in my ChiaoGoo interchangeable set. Next time I could use the 14” cord for the back and front as well.

Put the stitches on hold and tried on for size. It was a scary moment, but I’m glad I trusted the negative ease recommendation. I could size up next time if needed.

Ran out of yarn on the second ball half way through round 65 of the body. Decided to work on the neck before continuing (mostly to make sure I have enough yarn).

Worked the neck with size 2 needles and cast off with size 4.

Started ribbing after round 95 of body (11”) with size 2 needles. 10 rows of ribbing, cast off with size 4 needles.

Next time, I’d buy an extra skein (4 total) and add 2 inches before the ribbing. I’d also size up one and use an Italian bind off.

Ripped out the ribbing to add another 2-3” to the tank - will buy another skein.

Added another 3” for a total of 14” of body (measured from underarm edge) + 1”/10 rows of 1x1 ribbing.

Overall, this is no longer a mini tank by any means, but I love the neckline and made the body work for me.
