Used a US 2 32” circular for cast on and increase (magic loop), then transferred to 16” for remainder.

33 rows for crown set up, including first rounds of 5 and 6.

Reached yarn halfway point ~round 50 (faster than expected -- weighed 45g/98g on row 49). I set the counter at 0 after the crown increases.

Will likely have to use scrap fingering in second half.

Finished Boots Carnation at the end of round 132 and introduced 28g of leftover Lichen and Lace 80/20 sock. The colour change will be hidden on the inside of the hat.

Finished 28g of Lichen and Lace on the first decrease round and introduced leftover Boots yarn in A Girl Inspired. Used 8g for second crown.

Length was perfect. I found it a bit big (my own fault), but it’s perfect for my husband. I’ll consider sizing down to adult medium next time.
