Easy, fun, fast, cute, and a stash-buster. What’s not to love?

Mods:
Since I wanted a newborn size, I used size US4 needles throughout instead of 7/9 suggested in the pattern, but kept the same CO number asa the smallest size in pattern.

I also made tie-straps instead of a fixed-length sewed-on strap, so mommy can adjust it from dress to top as baby grows.
For the straps I followed the pattern for the first half (back of the dress) then ignored the pattern and did the same thing for the front of the dress. From then on, I knit each strap individually in garter stitch back and forth--as opposed to in-the-round--for about 12 rows, decreased the stitches to 3 and knit for approximately 20 rows. Repeated for each strap, BO, cuteness ensued.
