I’m using the Half + Half Triangles Wrap for Purl Soho for this shawl, but CO 164.
It will be in one color only, following Hermione’s requirements. She wants a big square shawl for herself, in order to be able to fold it along the diagonal and pretend the shawl is wings ^^

It’s a victory, I finished Hermione’s shawl! It was a very particular project. It resisted me, or maybe I resisted it, I’m not sure. It’s been such a strange experience. All of my life changed between the beginning and the finishing of this shawl.
Currently, everything is a mess. Finishing the shawl had become a crucial goal, I was feeling guilty to work on any other knitting, or any kind of project actually. But it’s done now. I have some other projects to achieve, but they are not for my daughter. They are less crucial. I’m kind of hoping a new beginning in my crafter life, I’m not sure it’s a relevant expectation…
Anyway, I’m hoping, though I should work on that instead of hoping, obviously.
It was a boring project, that’s pretty much all I can say about it. And I was working with big needles…
The tweedy yarn is a very good idea for a one color shawl. It’s beautiful… I am proud of it. I am proud to have finished it for Hermione. It’s a nice finished object that carries a lot of feelings of mine, a lot of love, a lot of sadness, a lot of grief, a lot of hope. It’s more than a big blue square. It’s precious, and I know Hermione will receive it with the adequate gratitude. My lovely daughter knows…
Now, to the next part of our life!
Pictures as soon as Hermione come back with me.
