An enjoyable knit. The chart is easy to remember. I love the fact that you start with the wide side and finish with 2 stitches.
I could knit it again in the future.
The yarn is great, as you can expect from a Blacker yarn. I can’t wait to touch and feel it after blocking. There was two knots in the twelve balls I had, and a few broken plies, sometimes the whole thread, but maybe I didn’t store the yarn appropriately.

Great finished object! The blocking was quite an adventure. I usually block my big shawls on a bed because it’s the only sufficient surface I have that can be pinned. I spread a polar fleece blanket over the bed and pin the shawl over it, the pins anchored in the mattress. But this time, the shawl was still damp one hour before sleep time. So I pinned the shawl on the blanket only with safety pins, and just throw the whole thing over the treadmill bars. It worked, because the blocking was mostly done, but I need a better blocking setup… It was stressful, I didn’t want to do all the pinning another time, or worse, having to unpin it, soak the shawl again and pin it back.
The yarn bloomed after blocking, it’s a nice, warm shawl, with body and presence. Almost a blanket, actually, but more stylish.
