Perfect for schlepping around on a day where you just need to pamper yourself or kick back with a good book.

I had a ball of chenille (blue fluff as my DGD calls it) in my stash and what better way to use it up than for a robe. The yarn is difficult to work with. Suggested needle size is 5.5 mm but it becomes a pretty holy project.

Robe: Provisionally cast on 9 st and worked back and partial side collar in ribbing, then picked up the yoke and provisional cast on. Continued in stockinette with raglan shaping and maintaining ribbed collar down front edge. When completed, turned it inside out so the reverse stockinette was on the outside. I find it tends to be a little more fluffy. Ribbed a belt and placed stay button with loop on inside edge and crocheted belt loops.

Spa Turban Cast on 12 st and worked approximately 20 rows ribbing then worked 6 st separately for each side approx 30 rows. Twisted separate sides then joined them both on needle and worked 12 st, again about 20 rows. Bound off. Seamed back together and stayed down gap along twisted sides.

Slippers Knitted as per pattern Doll Robe and Bunny Slippers using 4.5 mm needles and only one colour. My project page Blue Bunny Slippers
