Because I am using a natural Aran wool, I thought it might be wise to put a neck opening in the project to ease putting it on. I used a 2 st I-cord down the opening. The increases had to alter a bit to accommodate it.

The zipper was a devil to sew in. I didn’t like the look of the zipper when it was open so I faced it with fingering weight yarns. Wish I had of made the collar a little higher.
