I like fingerless mitts where there’s no fiddley finishing of the thumb, but these were a little problematic. The thumb opening was too wide, so I took off the cast off and tightened it up considerably. Next time I’d start the gusset decrease at the same point, but decrease every third round (instead of every other round) and end with 11 or 23 thumb sts instead of 17.
