I wanted to get right to Inning 1, so I chose a very tiny center square to start. I am making my project in size 3 crochet thread and a 3.25 mm hook.

The center is only 4 rounds (from the Flower Square Motif Jewelry Set by The Perfect Knot), plus one more round of sc around to get the perfect starting stitch count.

Inning 2 complete. Not sure I like all that green there! If I was ending it here I certainly wouldn’t use that color. I’m leaving it and hoping that eventually it will get lost in all the rest of the rounds coming.
