I wanted a ‘me’ sized dress form, which is a size large measuring in at 42-34-44.
I started with this pattern by Thornwood Crochet Designs. Natalie’s pattern is for the typical busty but extra small size dress form seen in all the department stores, so mine is quite heavily modified, and stuffed with a LOT of shredded paper!
The pattern was easy enough to follow- as long as you pay careful attention. She does say it takes a lot of work to get the stuffing right…there is really quite minimal shaping to the pattern itself so almost all of the shaping is done by strategic stuffing which took about as long as the crocheting did!
