9.21.10 :: I think this pretty scarf looks like a rosebud when worn. I’m a little embarrassed by the number of photos, but it was surprisingly fun to photograph in all the various ways it could be worn! And then I caught Annie spontaneously flower picking in the background :)

Oh, I did end up putting a purl round in the sockinette portion on row 14 of 20. It might lessen the amount of curl a touch (as you can see in the third photo), but I’m not sure by how much or that it even matters when worn.

9.20.10 :: All done. I still adore this wool, but I don’t know how I feel about the scarf yet. I like it just fine. It fits well and is warm… just trying to figure out how to wear it right I guess :/

9.4.10 :: The casting on of 200 sts was putting me off, but I finally started this scarfy-cowl thing. This yarn is a delight in every way so far.

I plan on putting a purl row about 5-6 rows before the end of the stockinette portion to lessen the amount of curling.
